Our beloved President Barack Obama might be a little less beloved after his appearance on “The Tonight Show” last night.
After host Jay Leno poked fun at Obama’s bowling skills, the President responsed by comparing them to something out of the Special Olympics. Of all the people to be politically incorrect on national television…
Spokesperson Bill Burton said the President was just trying to be self-deprecating, adding that the comment was “in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics.”
But this preformance hasn’t phased the producers of The Simpsons, who are in the process of lining up our fearless leader to appear on the show. He will, not surprisingly, be the first president in office to appear in an episode. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair appeared on the show in 2003 while still in office, but that’s the closest they’ve gotten.
The producers are also crossing their fingers that former president George W Bush will agree to be on the show. EPIC, my fingers are crossed.
