Two more Rhode Island samples are at the CDC being tested for swine flu. The State Department of Health announced the tests this morning, but hasn’t given any details on the patients or their conditions. It takes 24-48 hours for the CDC test results to come in.
The Governor and Department of Health yesterday held a press conference to discuss the first suspected swine flu case, a student at North Kingstown High School. The school is closed today and tomorrow. So far it remains the only school closed due to the spread of swine flu. Officials expect the test results in that case tomorrow or Saturday.
