Gas prices are up a penny in Rhode Island and three cents in Massachusetts.
AAA Southern New England says a gallon of regular unleaded in the Ocean State is averaging $2.06, one cent above the national average and seven cents above the average in Massachusetts–$1.99. The MA price is $1.39 less than it was at this time last year.
A separate survey from Rhode Island’s Office of Energy Resources, however, says the average price there is actually $2.09 / gal.
