A dangerous show-and-tell item is roaming the grounds near a Florida elementary school.

Ananova.com reports that Dave Brady lost an alligator after bringing it to his daughter’s class for show-and-tell. First of all, best show and tell ever, my dad just brought in free pens for everyone.

But what makes this story truly terrifying, prehistoric reptilian in close proximity to children aside, is that the beast escaped by “Jumping out of the truck”. That’s right JUMPING.

Brady comments: “Most people don’t think they can jump, but they have an amazing ability to jump. They can not only jump, they can run.”

What? I thought all they did was float around in the mud and hiss all day. All in all, another reason to avoid Florida. As if the senior citizens,Cuban crime lords, and swampy weather wasn’t enough; now they’ve got jumping alligators.

With all this in mind, Disney World just doesn’t seem to cut it anymore.
