The Alabama mom who made headlines for having her 13-year-old daughter ride in a cardboard box on top of her moving van began her jail sentence Tuesday.

Jackie Denise Knott was pulled over by police after she was spotted driving with her child inside a carboard box on the roof of her minivan.
When asked about the box, she allegedly told officers it was too big to fit inside and her daughter’s body weight could hold it down while inside.

I would hate my mom if she told me I was fat enough to sit inside a box, on top of a car, and have it stay on while driving. That would be a blow to the self-esteem.

Mommie Dearest is in jail for 5 days, has been given 2years probation, a $500 fine and is attending driving and parenting classes. Yeah, take those parenting classes. Good idea.
