Theater Beat in Santaland

theaterbeat2 For the week of December 4th-December 11th

Santaland @ The Gamm
Opens December 9th and runs through December 12th
From award-winning humorist, playwright and National Public Radio contributor David Sedaris, this is a dose of pretty unconventional holiday humor. The author’s real-life experiences as a Macy’s Christmas elf named Crumpet – including a humiliating interview, elf hazing, and run-ins with miscast Santas, pushy parents and a host of oddball characters are merrily snarky and fall-on-your-knees funny! Believe me, this play contains mature language and themes.

A Christmas Carol @ Trinity
Now playing through December 27th
Celebrate the wonder of the holiday season with this beloved New England holiday tradition! Appealing to young and old, this timeless tale of the power of forgiveness is a welcome reminder of the joy and redemption the holidays bring. Resident acting company favorite Timothy Crowe stars in the role of Scrooge. I saw it last night and loved it! It’s the most magical “Christmas Carol” yet!

See you at the theater!
