Several groups are working to clean Newport Harbor. Clean the Bay, Sailors for the Sea, and the Rozalia Project got together to clear debris for the water on Tuesday and Wednesday. Also joining them were youth groups from the Newport public sailing center. The clean-up will end with Newport’s first “Trash Bash Celebration” to bring awareness to the problem of marine garbage.
