Wisconsin Opens up For Republican Presidential Victory

The Romney camp sees hope for an upset victory in Wisconsin. The Republican Presidential nominee will visit the state for the first time since Wisconsin GOP Governor Scott Walker survived a heated recall election. The Midwestern state hasn’t voted for a Republican president since 1984. But, Walker’s survival of a Democratic push to get him out of office has given Republicans hope that Romney can beat President Obama in Wisconsin. Romney plans to visit Janesville, Wisconsin, a town hard hit by the recession. The recall election for Walker was held after he challenged Wisconsin public sector unions.
