According to a study conducted at Brown University, the U.S. response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks has cost over 300,000 lives and over 4 million dollars. This “Costs of War” study compiles the research of economists, political scientists, anthropologists and other experts. The university says its work is the most comprehensive accounting of the financial and human costs of American counterterrorism efforts.
