Could a fragment of parchment from the fourth century re-write history? According to Karen King, a professor at Harvard University, this text quotes Jesus referring to his wife. Within this text, Jesus also identifies this wife as a woman named Mary. King says this document does not prove Jesus was married, but speaks to questions posed by older Christian communities about family and marriage.

I do believe Jesus would have said the word wife. Jesus, though born in Bethlehem of Judea, and spent most of his life in the north in Nazareth and the surrounding area of Galilee, where the local language is Aramaic. Aramaic being many dialects but seems easily translated, the word wife meant Women or beloved ones. If Jesus was married, John the baptist would have been the likely witness and no words on this have been recorded for the public’s eyes. But the Roman Catholic Church has withheld many such teachings on every level thus far. I just don’t see the issue with Jesus falling in love, It’s human nature and he was the kindest man when it came to love.
